A fire alarm without the cabling
The Ajax EN54 Line is a fully wireless fire detection and alarm system for commercial sites. Detectors, sounders and call points talk to the control panel over Ajax’s Jeweller radio, so there is no cabling to run and no programming. Ajax says each device takes minutes to fit and a system goes in within hours, not days.
That matters on a vacant or newly repossessed building, where fire detection is often the slowest thing to put in, and in occupied buildings where cabling work is disruptive.

Alarms in under 3 seconds
Alarms reach the panel or the monitoring station in under 3 seconds, with the device name, location and time. Users also get instant push notifications.
Up to 200 devices, 40 zones
One panel handles up to 200 devices and 40 fire zones, with up to 5 Fire ReX range extenders and up to 64 automation scenarios.
Long radio range
Up to 1,800 m in open space for the panel, and up to 1,700 m for detectors. Ajax publishes an industrial-scale warehouse case study.
Stays connected
Ethernet or Wi-Fi as the main channel, with two backup SIM cards on 2G/4G and automatic switching.
Remote monitoring
Events go to Ajax PRO Desktop or third-party monitoring software over SIA DC-09 or SurGard (Contact ID).
Faults and testing
Faults and low batteries are flagged automatically, testing can be done remotely and maintenance reports are produced automatically.

Fire and intruder in one Ajax system
The EN54 Fire Hub can also run Ajax wireless intruder devices, cameras and photo verification: one panel and one app. It can work as a stand-alone fire panel or as a combined fire, intruder and video system.
